Exclamation 2001 Chevy Impala Turn Off Message Center Lights w/ Aftermarket Stereo

Hello all,
I am trying to turn off the check engine oil light etc. that i used to do through my old factory radio. Can someone steer me in the right direction on how to do this. I did a lot of searching on the net and came up with a site that is no longer up called impalaauthority.com that had a file called reset_lights_without_RDS.pdf. Does anyone have a copy of this file? Or any ideas on how I can achieve doing this? Thanks so much!!!

If the message center says "check engine" it cannot be turned off without clearing the code, which cannot be done through any radio.
Tire Pressure and Change Oil can be turned off without the factory radio. For Tire Pressure, first make sure all the tire pressures are correct. Then turn the key to on, and push the headlight knob all the way forward. Pull it out one click, and repeat 3 times within 10 seconds.
For Change Oil, turn the key to on, and press the accelerator fully to the floor, release, and repeat 3 times in 10 seconds.
If you have other messages, go get the car scanned at Autozone. They'll do it free, then post the codes here. They will also clear the codes for you, but you need to get the problems fixed or the codes will just come back soon.
