2005 Transmission leak
OK guys, my niece has a 2005 with the 2.0L and the transmission is leaking some kind of fierce. It looks to be the gasket for the fluid pan; however, none of the parts store show one in stock or can get one. Is this a part that you can only get from the dealership or what? Also, the car only has 20K miles on it. What was the powertrain warranty for this car? Thanks for the help.

It probally has a 4 speed trans,there is a soleniod pack in front of the transmission and look for a big plug with a plastic cover over it which does leak and is a very common problem.The part is not cheap,about $200.00 and sometimes does not come with new gaskets.
