Does anyone know anything about exhaust systems?

I have a muffler on, but no aftermarket mods to the exhaust.
I like the sound to the muffler and would hate to get a new muffler.

Is there anything I should know?

Is there a difference between a catback or a turboback exhaust?

If I wanted to get a turbo later, I shouldn't get a catback?

A turboback replaces everything from the turbo throughout the entire system.

A catback replaces everything from the catalytic convertor back.

The risk with the turboback is if you're in a state with emissions laws - you won't pass them.

A muffler is just a sound suppressing box and is a component of the exhaust system, it's not something separate.

I can't tell from your post if you have any mods at all, do you?

Nope; no mods yet.

I changed my mine. I'm going to get a full [catback] exhaust next week.
Louder and throaty.

I actually found a coldair intake for my car. I was told there was none for my car.

There is no cold air intake for your car - there is a short ram intake.

Yeah, I asked our performance place about the cold air intake, and the website doesn't know what they're talking about.

I guess I'm going to get a custom system, cuz I can't find anything for my car as usual.

Everyone, I got my exhaust done yesterday.

I got a Tenzo Racing muffler and got a 2 1/4 inch pipe installed and I put a large Subaru decal on the front of my car; what a great day.

It sounds like DK's 350Z from Tokyo Drift.
