Door locks not auto anymore

My door locks have always been programmed to factory 3. In this the doors lock when the van is pulled out of park while running, then unlock when the van is turned off. The other day it just started to not do that. I mean I noticed a strange quiet sound, I thought it odd, but figured everything is working fine, just seemed quieter than usual. Then I noticed that the door locks were not locking or unlocking when they used to. Nothing has been chabged, I even checked the programming of the BCM and it was still correct. I checked the door locks and switch plates, and remotes and all work fine. Locks unlock and lock no matter what, just not with the shift and turn off. I don't notice anything else weird. The lights all turn on and off properly as would be thought if a door switch was going out. All fuses I can seem to locate and check are fine as well. Just doesn't want to lock or unlock as programmed.

Liek I said, this just started happening. One day they worked, the next they didn't. Nothing else is an issue at this time. No MIL, no unusual other noises. I did loan my van to a friend that decided to bend the lower door frame on the drivers side, and put a huge dent in the rear, but I believe the locks were working after I got it back from her, so I don't think that the bent door sill under the body has anything to do with it, but it might if you think I should check there.

SOLVED: Door locks not auto anymore

Ok, in case you were wondering, it turned out to be the Back-up Light Fuse that was blown. Who would have guessed that fuse would cause the locks to not work right?

Re: Door locks not auto anymore

Did it again! So I hunted down the issue, turns out the rear drivers side taillight was full of water, shorting out the circuit everything I would shift. Drained and cleaned it, repaired the rust areas, and sealed it for good (I hope!). Should be all good, so far now a full day without it burning out.
