Hybrid Escape Voltage Surge?
I have an intermittent problem on my 2007 Hybrid Escape. It's happened only 3 times, with several weeks between incidents. As I'm driving at freeway speeds with the radio on (and no other preconditions or warning), there's a loud 'snap' from the speakers, and the radio/nav system reboots.
Has anyone else seen this electrical gremlin? The local Ford dealer scratched his thinking parts and came up with nothing.
