It finally arrived!

My first double action airbrush!
After struggling for a long time with a Badger sprayer and then a single action airbrush which chocked every minute, I finally decided to switch to somenthing better...
Today I received my first Iwata, an Eclipse HP-CS with 0.3 and 0.5 nozzles and needles.
So far I've only tested the 0.3 and I have to admit that is amazingly easy to use and clean, and is also very comfortable thanks to its silky smooth trigger!
I also love the sturdy construction and the it transmits to the hand...
Just wanted to share my happiness with you guys!

God bless double action airbrushes!

Cheers,

Marco

Re: It finally arrived!

Take soon a SuperLube since the HP-CS trigger come hard very quick, looks like it need some care at last (but I use nitro solvent to wash). Also it seem quite easy to clean but using it you'll notice that it isn't, mainly in the back section, there is ever some bit of ink that flush back. Some thinner' backflushing (when you stop the flow in the nozzle and the thinner/color backflush in the jar) help but isn't sufficent: you probably need to wash the whole stuff sometimes. Last advice: store it (also for few hours) with the needle a bit back than the working position, especially if you use hard thinners (nitro-toluene) to wash.

Great deal, I like my HPCS too
