Im haveing problems with a hard start and i was told by a few mechanics to try the coolant sensor i have a 95 silverado sb350 I do believe i have found the sensor new the thermostat housing ..My question is how easy is it to replace. If its as easy changing a light bulb then i can do it ..I have looked in my Haynes repair manual but it says nothing on how to ..What do i need to do and hope its a simple process ..cant see paying a mechanic 65.00 an hour to unscrewe and rescrew it in...Thanks ...

Re: Coolant sensor???
It's almost as easy as changing a light bulb, but you will have to refill the cooling system afterwards. It just unscrews and the new one screws in. Most even come with thread sealer on them already.
