01 dakota power window

my mom has an 01 dakota club cab and the passenger side window stopped working. dealer told her she needs a new motor/regulator. i'm planning on changing it for her. now i'm not new at pulling doors apart (do upholstery for a living) but have never taken a dakota apart. are there any surprises i should be ready for? are the regulators bolted to the door, or rivots? window rivoted to the regulator? any help will be great.

thanks

Regulator is bolted to door; glass is bolted to regulator. Motors get stuck; smack the door while having some pushing on the window switch. Will probably start working again.

Re: 01 dakota power window

jpb, thanks for the info. it got stuck down, and the dealership charged an arm and leg just to get it back up. i think they disabled it so she can't use it. dealer lists the part for 200, but i can get it for 150 with my work discount. then of course i won't charge her to install it. is it cable driven?
