i hear a humming sound coming from the back of the truck & it stalled out at a few red lights, could it be the fuel pump?

Welcome to AF.
If fuel pump is humming it is still running.
Which is good.

Any check engine lights?
DOES IT RUN GOOD BETWEEN RED LIGHTS OR OUT ON THE ROAD?

What engine and mileage?
How is the fuel prerssure?
What is the mileage on last tune up?
Is engine missing? Like dead cylinder or bad idel?

Re: 1997 blazer

From your PM I see that it runs good on the road.
So I would be looking for a idle problem.
Vacuum hoses and PCV valve and clean TBI check EGR valve operation and stuff like that.
A good engine scanner will help on the idle control end.
What is the mileage?
When was the last tune up?
Any check engine lights?
