Instrument bulbs

Does anyone know the bulb no. for the heater controls on a 99 Tacoma? I went to Napa and got some bulbs that were real close but the bases were to big. I looked in my Grainger mini bulb chart and they don't list anthing with a smaller wedge base.

Re: Instrument bulbs

You might want to try what I did for my former '99 Tacoma. I called the local junk yards and salvaged the bulbs and housing from a wrecked Tacoma. I had it in my mind that I wanted all my lights to be blue and screwed some things up. Considering the '99s have been on the road for a few years now there should be an ample supply. I know in Austin there was...I even got a new fender flair from where a neighbor rubbed fenders with me.

Re: Instrument bulbs

Other forums say bulb no. 74. But they won't fit in socket. Looks like the junkyard route.
