Re: center roller on sliding door

First make sure there is enough lubricant in the sliding track for the roller to glide on. Is the roller damaged? Perhaps the noise you here is the roller on bare metal without any grease to keep the noise level down?

Re: center roller on sliding door

I applied lubricant,(lithium grease) to the upper and lower tracks that the door slides on. I used a plastic glove to apply the grease to make sure I got it in all the areas. I then ran the door over the newly greased tracks a few times to make sure the grease was distributed enough. As the sliders for the door passes over the grease, they pick some of it up and get lubricated in that fashion.
