wont start

the battery got drained in my 2001, not sure if the battery or starter is bad, i charged the battery again I get powerr now buthe engine does not turn over or even sounds like ift wants to any ideas.

Also now in the message center there is a message with security any one know what this means

Just had a similar thing happen to my van, the starter would click(solenoid pulling in) but the starter would not turn the engine over. I checked the connection to the starter, when the solenoid closed I got 12V to the starter, so I determined the starter motor was shot. Bought a new one, put it in, took about an hour, good to go. DON'T FORGET TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY, unless you want to collect on the fire insurance.
