I just bought a 1987 XJ6

Hey I just bought a Jaguar XJ6 with 122,000 miles. Won't start, getting spark no fuel. I was told its the Fuel Pump and that it just recently happened. Its was an everyday Driver.

the fuel pumps in that year are almost indestructable.check powre to it.it is under a cover to the rear of the spare tire.if none there is a red diode pack on the firewall.check powre to and from.and always check the inersia switch located on the passenger side a piller by the dash it is a small black box.and buy a book you will love it.
