I hate...
fucking potholes...
 I just bent a steel wheel on the Cobalt almost an inch deep because of a fucking pothole. And the sad part is that they are like 14" wheels with an assload of sidewall...  So... Now I'm running on a donut for the moment... Looks like I'll be buying those new wheels sooner than I wanted to...  Damn you Ohio!!!

Ok, so new wheels are gonna cost way more than I was expecting... Double fuck...

Don't come to Chicago right now then. There's a pothole every 3 feet basically. We've got terrible roads at the moment. Actually making national news all across the country. Terrible!

Hehe... Well, I think I got it bent back good enough for now. I was able to remount the tire and get it to hold air. We'll see how it does once I have to drive to work tonight and contend with more bumps and potholes...
Things like this just give me one more reason to leave Ohio and never come back. lol... California is sounding really good this time of year...

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

Ya that sucks sometimes they are unavoidable. Thats why I have chrome rims the thick layer of chrome surrounding the steel protects against everything including ex girlfriends taxes and V8's.

Brian, how fast were you going? And was it really a pot hole? I hit one doing probably 45 last summer... it was a big, deep bastard and I hit with my 17 aluminum rims with approximately 2 inches of sidewall and nothing happened. My guess is Brian was drunk off his ass and powersliding parking lots at 90+ then asshole of a curb jumped out of nowhere!
