One of my air springs took a crap. I want to keep them and am curious to what ones I can replace them with. Is there a lot of options? Or is it Ford and Goodyear? Just want to see anyones input. Thanks

Re: Discussion:Best option for air springs for my 99
The general consensus from the Lincoln community is to stick with the Goodyear OEM springs IF you want to keep the softer ride.
Goodyear isn't the cheapest though..

If you want to keep the air ride and don't want to replace them with coil springs check out strutmasters.com. They make very nice aftermarket airsprings and very good prices. Just my
GOOD LUCK!

Re: Discussion:Best option for air springs for my 99
Do a GOGGLE on ''AIR SPRING TOWN CAR',or Check EBAY.
I bought brand new for $89 EACH for LIFE. I would rather change an Air spring than change a flat Tire. CAUTION: DON'T FORGET to Turn air suspenshion off in trk, befor you JACK-UP. It's probably time to replace BOTH,rubber doesn't last forever. The money saved doiing it yourself + cost,it would be a good selling feature. ''New Air Springs'' How much doe's it COST these days? 2K MCGIVER Last edited by danielsatur; 03-14-2008 at 09:05 AM. |
