Re: anyone with a remote starter on here?
I had one installed on my Z4. Knucklhead broke every panel mounting bracket except 2. Then the connectors are really temporary splicers. Then the main circut 10ga. was spliced by finger wrapping the tap onto the main. Any voltage variation on the main line from the starter circut to the starter will trigger your EWS and off to the Stealer you go and at $100 hr. they dig out the remote starter, realign the EWS to the ECU and away you go with a scolding and a $1500.oo bill. German cars are getting stolen by the New Russian Glosnost Free Marketeers (russian car thieves) so German Insurance companies demanded higher theft prevention measures on german automobiles.
