93 Blazer 4x4 Issues

I Have A 1993 Jimmy 4x4 6 Cyl (w) Vortec... When I First Got It The 4x4 Didnt Work... I Check The Switch And Didnt Have Power (wires) So I Took Power From A Different Source And It Light Up... The 4x4 Low Works But It Wont Shift Gear (always) But If Keep Pushing The Button And If The Engine (or Sensor ) Is Cold.. The 4x4 Low Will Work For Couple Hours.. The 4x4 High Only Worked Once (a Week Ago) And It Runned Smooth.. I Dont Think I Have A Transmission Problem.... I Can Hear A Click Behind The Glove Box When Im Pushing The 4x4 Switch.. And A Noise Under The Blazer... When The 4x4 Is Trying To Work (all This While Is In Neutral Of Course... I Want To Start Messing With It But I Could Use Some Help... Thank You All...

What transfer case do you have?
Floor shift or push button transfer case shift?
Jimmy or Blazer or S-10?
1993 year right?
