If you're trying to save money, i would hold out on the extra header. you know, one is only needed anyways

Nothing but some welding skilz I pretty sure the SIR mounts that come with it will bolt directly in to the casis. (I was told this by EXP swapers) Im not sure if thats for Just the SI's or not. But if you have to you could buy some HAsport or placeRacing mounts... It would be cheaper/better if you just moved the mounts on you chasis, then again not everyone knows how to mig weld.

json79 did a b16 in his hatch. He used the b16a3 from a 94 del sol vtec so he could run OBD1, so he could get it legal in cali. a b16a1 will not be able to pass, since it isnt a usdm motor.

heres a link to his car domain page

Not true! You can use a JDM motor and still get a bar certification! It has to have all the smog equipment and function like the equivelent USDM model of that same engine... SO if I got a JDM typeR motor I would have to have all the stuff off a USDM typeR car... Well ya know smog related stuff I chated with the REFF about this one day while an aquanence was getting reamed for all the illeagal shit under his hood... I guess they didnt like the individual TB setup hooked up to a T66 turbo... I dunno why

The SiR mounts or the integra mounts that come with most b16 swaps will not just bolt into the 88-91 civic/crx chassis without modification. When I was doing my swap I tried to see if it was possible but the mount locations needed to be hacked out and rewelded in slightly different locations for the stock mounts to work.

you will definataly need new mounts, dont even attempt the hack-n-stuff method, it aint worth it.

i got my motor from hmotorsonline and they gave me all i need, besides the mounts. all you will have to do is rewire the motor to your DX harness so everything works.
