240sx help

hey im trying to build a drift machine from a 240sx. any good ideas for an engine or tranny that are reasonably priced? thanks

I'm really not trying to be a jerk when I say this, but judging on how you just asked that question, it implies to me that you don't know a thing about the car you're wanting to "turn into a drift machine."

I mean this with the utmost sincerity when I say that you should first own the car for a little while and get a feel for it, research engines on your own before asking us and learn a thing or two about what it is you're wanting to do. That way you won't trash a good car because you saw someone attempting to drift and thought it would be a good idea. We get a lot of people that come in here balls to the walls wanting to just jump right in to drifting and the guys on this board will be the first to tell you, it's not something you just jump into without knowing something about the car itself or about drifting.

If you were serious about this and knew what you were wanting to do, you wouldn't be asking us what kind of motors are used. You would know.
