K & N Air Filter for 1996 honda odyssey is it good to get one or not?

Yes, I read somewhere that K & N filters are ok for some vehicles and not good for others. Would it be worth it to get it one for the odyssey or should I stick with the paper ones at. Thanks

Nicholas

If you stay with the OEM and change them out as per the maintenance schedule you'll be fine and save some $ in the process.

Agreed. K&N makes a great product, I just don't think their air filters are worth a hoot for a vehicle with a MAF sensor, etc. I've seen all too many incidents where dirt/oil carry-over from an oiled K&N coats the MAF sensor and causes all kinds of issues; random misfires, lean/rich codes, etc.
