Re: 94 blowerfan and power window

I don't think it's the ignition switch - I think it's an internal fault (open-circuit) within the fuse panel. Unfortunately, I don't have a wiring diagram for the '94, but I do have one for the '95. According to this Autozone Repair Guide page, the fuse locations and functions are the same for the years '93 to '96 (Fig.11, Fig. 12). Therefore I think my '95 wiring diagram is relevant.

If you look at the diagram below, you can see that the black/red wire from the ignition switch routes into the interior fuse panel, feeding the front wipers and rear wiper, in addition to the heater blower motor and power windows. If the ignition switch was faulty and not feeding that wire, or if the wire itself was faulty, then your wipers would be out of action. If your wipers work then you know that the path as far as the fuse panel is intact.

Therefore I think you have an open-circuit fault within the fuse panel itself, at the point where I've marked a red cross, below. If that point was open-circuit, and you then did what you mentioned above - remove the power window fuse and apply voltage from a jumper lead to the point which I've marked 'A', then your blower motor would work. If you then applied your jumper to the point marked 'B', then your power windows would work, which is exactly what you have described. If your wipers are working normally, then that's my best guess as to what the problem is - internal open-circuit within the fuse panel.

Re: 94 blowerfan and power window

I totally agree with Selectron and am glad he beat me to responding as he did a much better job than I was going to do showing a clear diagram of where the open circuit is and the jumper locations to prove his case. Thanks Selectron.
