Alero Sunroof problem
hey guys, lately the weather has been showing signs of life around here, which makes me wanna drive with my windows open. But the sunroof wont work. heres the lowdown:
when i first got the car the sunroof worked perfectly fine. opened, closed, did it all. Then the super harshly cold winter came. And ever since that cold winter the sunroof wont budge. I automatically went for the fuse box. took the old fuse out to check it out and it was fine... looked old but wasnt blown. So i put it back in. Suprisingly the sunroof worked. All good right? wrong! It was untill the car stood there for a few hours when i went to a friends house. As at the end of the day, the roof wouldnt open. Again i went for the fuse box. This time i put in a new fuse to replace the old one, but no luck. Still wont budge. are there any known problems with the sunroofs? Can anyone give me some ideas before i go taking the headliner off. thanks in advance! ~marcin~ |

Re: Alero Sunroof problem
To start check the sunroof fuse socket and make sure the 12 volts is present with ignition to on. Use a DMM or 12 volt test light.
