1997 SC2 moves in neutral - automatic transmission
My 1997 SC2 creeps forward when you are in neutral. It is an automatic and otherwise drives and shifts perfect. Trans fluid is clean and has been replaced within the last 20,000 miles. Also, sometimes when I start the car it rocks forward.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this? |

That is a very odd problem that I have never read about or experience before. How much force is there going foward?
Also repalace your Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Look at some previous posts for what it does.

Coolant temp sensor will affect the transmission? Not sure how much force exacly but it will creep it up the driveway. I have to pull the emergency brake up one click so that I can go through the car wash...

I've seen this before on a Honda. Had to pull the trans and have it repaired. A couple gears were stuck together or something.
