The after market radio in my 1990 Grand Prix plays fine until I turn the car off. When I re-start it the radio won't play. I can take the fuse out and put the same fuse back in and it starts playing again? The radio has been in the car for several years but just started giving me problems? It doesn't do it all the time. It's not blowing the fuse. Could it be some type of regulator going bad or ??

Re: 1990 Grand Prix Radio Problems
what fuse are you removing/reinstalling? Is it in-line to the radio (part of the aftermarket radio's harness), or in the car's fuse box? If in the fuse box, is it in the interior fuse center or the one under the hood? Also, what amp is it and what is it labeled?

It in the car's fuse box inside the glove box, it's label "radio", and has a 15 amp fuse.

Hmmm, kinda strange. When the radio doesn't work, do you mean it doesn't come on at all, or just no sound comes out?
