01 azteck weird problem

01 aztec 3.5 It is my grandmas car and she drove it from detroit and heard a click or something. When she got home I looked at it and the radio theftlock was activated and no power windows or auto headlight. No codes. If I disconnect the battery and re hook it then everything works fine, radio lights and windows. what gives.
