01 Chevy 5.3 burns oil
My recently purchased 01 Suburban with the 5.3 engine(90k miles) seems to use about a quart of oil every 1k miles. Often when the engine is started there is a puff of blue smoke. Is this engine known for valve guide problems or valve guide seal problems? Any info would sure be appreciated!
