Battery draining power 94 maxima
I have a 94 maxima which previously was rarely driven. Developed a corroded + battery cable which was replaced at the dealer. It now drains the battery in 2-3 days if not driven. Whe driven daily it will start daily. It has been evaluated by several mechanics and no one can figure out why.
Any ideas? |

DIY: Buy 10$ multimeter, put in amp scale, attach probes correctly. Disconnect batt cable, insert probes between battpole<<---->>cableconnector. Read... If shows more than 0.05A, then start pulling fuses until leak current drops. If no change, Disconnect alternator (rectifier may leak, even intermittently), read...
