'04 CD Player problems

So I was driving today and the CD player on my monsoon deck shut off. It won't eject the disk and when I switch to CD it tells me to check the disk. Any suggestions? The raido still works fine though....

it sounds like your CD player ate your CD. Was the CD a burned CD? I've had the burned CD's do that, but normally it'll eject the CD when that happens. I'm not sure on how to get the CD back out of the unit. I forget if you are able to open them up and get them out or the dealer has to send it out.

Was it realy cold in your car ?

Soemtimes when you first warm it up fog will cover the CD and the player will give an error and eject it usualy.

I'd check the fuses for the stereo too.
