97 Ranger

I just Bought a 97 ranger with a/c The heater blows hot all the time even when you turn the temp down all the way. Any Thoughts?

You've got to push in the button on the lower left in (above ash tray) to turn the air on, at least my 94 is in that location. and an A/C light will come on. look under the hood to see if the A/C clutch is turning when the A/C is turned on It won't cool if its not turning.
