Engine compartment catch or stop cables.

Hello,

I have an 1986 Fiero SE with new paint.
The two cables mounted to the bottom of my trunk lid to the framework under the rear window have both broken. Does anyone know what these are actually called?
They stop the trunk lid from opening too far.
Also on the trunk lid side they mount under a ¾” disc looking (bolt?) I need to find new ones because it is always windy here in the Texas Panhandle and you have to wait for a calm day to check the oil. Which calm days are rare here.
If you do know what they are called or how to detach them or where to find new ones.
Looked at the Fiero store already.
I would try the junk yard but can’t understand how they are attached to the inside trunk lid.
Any help would be great.
