Confessions of a Car Salesman

http://www.edmunds.com/advice/buying...2/article.html

This guy went undercover for a few weeks as a car salesmen at two dealerships for a report for edmunds. Its a long read but very interesting.

Good find.

It may be a repost but I couldn't find the old thread, so that makes it new again!

Re: Confessions of a Car Salesman

Interesting read. unfortunately it dragged on a bit, and he didn't find out a great deal. or maybe i knew it already.

worked in the trade selling stuff, it's kinda fun. i could never really bring to myself to lie to the customers to make they buy something. but something you have to enter the gray area.

never was a natural salesman, something to do with having a fear of strangers.

Cliff notes version? A bit wordy but, overall not bad.
