Help I have a huge problem ignition stuck

hi i have a huge problem and will greatly thank you for your help, ok heres what happened

after letting my sister barrow my 1994 Sunbird and when she parked it was left in drive with the ignition still turned half way and the key out

next morning being late for work i freaked out and stuck the key in and it wouldn't start

so i brutally turned it back to the regular positioning, with it still in drive(very stupid in know, but I was in a hurry)

how its stuck firmly in and wont move

so what do I need to do to fix it

Sounds like you may have bent the rack that goes from the ignition cylinder housing to the electrical part of the switch. It's a fairly common issue on these cars.
