I just bought a 2007 Ford Focus and would like to know what others' experiences have been in terms of reliability.
The car is a used car and has 27,000 miles on it, and I feel that I got a good deal on it -- the price was below book value, and I needed a car and everything seemed to fall into place with the financing, etc. I've never owned a Ford, though, and I have had several people tell me "Oh, I would NEVER buy a Ford!" and things along those lines, which makes me feel afraid. I checked with the Consumer Reports Buying Guide and it is a recommended car by them, so that makes me feel like I made a pretty wise choice, but I'd like to know your experiences with the car. Thanks for any and all information. |

Re: Reliability of 2007 Focus
I would say you made a good choice. I have a 2007 Ford Focus SE and it's real good. I would say if you take care of it, it will last you along time. At least it wont fall apart like a Chrysler

Re: Reliability of 2007 Focus
I drive one and it's been owned by us for a year and 3 months. Good all-around really, no problems. As long as you take care of it, it'll take care of you.

Re: Reliability of 2007 Focus
I used to work at a Ford Dealer for 6 years. Focus models from 1999-2004 are crap. 2005 and up are a very good choice.
