1995 chevy silverado
i broke the cruise control part off of the turn signal/wiper lever(dont know correct name). do i have to order the whole assembly or can i repair existing. i also have had prolems with the dome light not working. bulb is good. did a continuity test on wires and there is know change at the light when i turn dome switch on. has anyone else had these problems before.

Multi-function switch is the correct name of that part-- and unfortunately it comes as a whole unit---you may try to repair it yourself, depending on how it broke
If it is not the real skinny arm- then you have to pull off the steering wheel to replace it......
