glove box ticking.
I had not used my 99 durango for several days, when i got in i heard a ticking noise about 1 per second, coming from glove box area. seemed strongest top of glove box.
reason did not use it for several days- separate problem when i try to start, starter not engaging (the recognizable starter tick). other electrical works fine. It worked fine for a week. had similar issues 2 weeks ago gave it a jump, would stall out, at low idle cold engine. has been raining alot lately. |

Re: glove box ticking.
Open the engine hood, see if the sound is louder. If so, run the engine at night, in the dark so that you can look for sparking from the ignition system. Then it's probably time to perform a tuneup (plugs and wires).
