engine change

There is some real good info on here for changing engines, but I have one problem and that is where do i hook up my hoist or chain on the engine to lift it out. I took out a 2.7 that was toast by lifting on the cams, but the new 2.7 I am putting in , not sure where to lift it. Actually it is quite simple to pull these engines out. I disconeccted it from the tranny and unplugged the wiring harness from 4 major points on the car and every thing comes right out. Easy swap just not sure where to hook up my hoist.

Re: engine change

nobody answered me, wow all these no it alls and nobody could help me. So if you want to know one bolt on the timing cover and then one left hand side bracket, and one on right hand side motor mount. simple job worst part was 4 bolts and brackets on top behind engine on bell housing. have fun. not as bad as it looks. quote from May Young
