Just wondering if I have to replace timing chain as part of preventive maintainace? Truck is running fine. Or just replace when needed?? Thanks Paul |

Re: timing chain
Replace as needed, it should run a long time!

Re: timing chain
I have 168, 159, and 189 thousand miles on my timing chains, still the originals and no problems (except for the PLASTIC tensioner and guides on my Pontiac
), but yours should go several hundred thousand easily.
