Question Problems In The Brakes..help!!

CAVALLIER 2002

Car Problems:
-When braking hard car slides forward while making weird noises in the front axle. It's very dangerous to drive this way. I don't feel safe.

-Lots of noises coming from rear brakes when pressing brake pedal.

Repairs already performed:
-Rear brake drums were replaced. Also new drums were cleaned several times (once by a GM dealer shop) but the problem reappears after a couple of days.
-Nobody seems to know what's the problem or how to fix it.
-ABS light does not turn on at all.

ANYBODY KNOWS HOW IS THE PROBLEM? SAMMY

Re: Problems In The Brakes..help!!

did you change the brakes pads/shoes at all????? changing just the drums really wont do much of anything if the brakes are bad. And try replacing your rotors 2 if your have noise coming from the front and are you positive its coming from the axle??
