Lets see 'em...

Ok I don't know where everybody went but damn it has been slow in here lately. So seeing as i'm buried under some snow and have been dying to ride lately I've been thinking of thread ideas. I realized I never posted any pics of my bike. So here goes, I fully expect you guys to follow suit and post up your rides.

2007 Honda 919

Only thing different now is that I got rid of those little front turn signals and installed some flushmount ones with a smoked lense.

OK lets see the rest of them guys and gals.

Re: Lets see 'em...

Nice I love that color with the black, its very clean looking no emblems or decals. I like it alot. In fact I have always liked your bike. I remember way back when we had that art thread or something going on in off-topic and you asked for it to be sketched or something it looked sweet. Actually I think I still have the computer sketch in my AF gallery haha.

Blayne, I don't think it's the red reflective rim tape, but if you have a personal fanny pack that matches the one on your bike........

Plus, anyone that uses the number 13 at the track has my respect.

Nice tat too, any story behind the red dragon?

Re: Lets see 'em...

I need to get new pics of my bike. The small one in my signature was taken just after I got it. I have new pipes, bags, seat, windshield and a bit of skull themed chrome to personalize it. Since it's in the garage covered during this cold ass mucho snow winter, it might take a while to get it cleaned up and photo worthy.

Knorwj, bad ass, muscle standards are cool!!!

BP2K2Max, I've told you before I like that Champagne color of yours, it's different and sharp!

Steel, your's is sweet also! That Blue is gorgeous and the exposed engine is the cat's ass.

Aussie, not too bad for half-assed pics!

In Australia, fanny=vagina. so your calling me a girl? ok, so red rim tape makes me a girl. i can't deny that. i do make a pretty chick, although kinda hairy and chubby.

as for the number 13, my lucky number's are 11 and 13. 11 is always taken so i'll have 13.

and finally my tatt. When i was on my honeymoon, my wife and i got tatt's. I got a red celtic symbol on my neck (i have Celtic roots). Then the movie XXX (with Vin Diesel, not porn!) came out and everyone thought i was trying to be like him. Then when my Sister-in-law wanted a tatt, i took her down and got the Phoenix done at the same time. Dragon/Phoenix same shit different color

Re: Lets see 'em...

Fanny in the states means your ass, so I guess I was unknowingly calling you an ass!! No, a fanny pack is like a little pouch (I call them a man purse) with a belt-like strap that you fasten around your waist. Tourists use them to carry their cameras and such because we'd beat the men up if they carried a real purse, rightfully so I might add.

Re: Lets see 'em...

Steel nice ride, I like the color, and the belly pan is nice. I've wanted one for mine since I bought it but by the time I buy the pan and have it painted it would probly be over 400 bucks sooo I go panless haha. That bike would be badass fully naked...

Aussie love the bike, but I'm partial to the family haha. Is it orange and black or red and black? Have you checked out the new '08s yet? I love them soooo much I almost decided to get rid of the 919 for one.

Dirty pics are better than no pics!

The one I posted were taken last summer while on vacation. I had just gotten to Lake george village in Lake george New York after driving from Virginia up to portland Maine and then over to new york for a week. The bike is fairly clean for being strapped to the back of my blazer for all those miles. I unloaded it and never even started my blazer all week. It wound up serving as canoe storage all week haha you can barely see it in the first two pics up behind the bike.

Re: Lets see 'em...

Here's one taken last year on the memorial ride I organized for my dad on his birthday in July-07 (he passed away in Oct 06). It's pretty much the way it is now.

Re: Lets see 'em...

Man-purse.....??? hmmmmmm

when i need to carry something and i'm alone, its in that red bag on the bike but people look at a bloke in leather before they see the "fanny pack".

other than that, my wife is my "handbag" she knows i'll loose stuff unless she carries it.

My bike is red but photos tend to show orange for some reason.

Hey Aussie! Guess you saw the news, the guys that tried to rob the bar fulla bikers there in Sydney?

Re: Lets see 'em...

yep. funny stuff.

Two teenagers (i think 16yrs old) tried to rob a sports club with a samurai sword and a machete. the only problem was there was a club meeting for the Southern Cross Cruisers and their families. one kid jumped through a glass window and then off a balcony 20 foot high to escape and the other got stuck in the back of house corridors before the bikers kindly held them till the cops arrived.

How the hell the dickheads didn't see 50 harleys in the carpark?
