Here is what I have so far: 1974 350 truck engine with the 010 020 behind the timing cover casting #V1030TMX
Crank cast...medium journal...3.48" stroke #3932442 tune port heads 87-95...305 #14101081 Zollner piston #Z8222A plain flat top with 4 valve reliefs 1.544 compression TRANS AM TPI SETUP 1988 How bad will the heads affect the perfomance of the motor. I was trying to find the 14101083's but I would like to use the heads I have if it doesn't do much to motor performance or take the cr to high for effective TPI performance. Anyone know of a good cam to use with this set up? Still have to build the top of the motor, Thanks. |

Re: 350 build question
I would consider the ZZ4 cam.
ZZ4 Duration @ 0.050" Lift: 208/221 Lift: .474"/.510" Lobe Separation: 112 I've got a set of the 083 heads if you're still looking for some.
