SURFIN... and BANG!
anyone ever thought of this?? looks to be the answer to the 14b/16g boost creep problems! it seems a little rough, but if someone were to manufacture these wastegates as opposed to the oem ones, this would be a pretty good rig IMO... it looks interesting, and not to mention, way more function, i mean check out that video at the end! look how far that W/G opens! IMO! whats your guy's thoughts on this?

#1 cure for boost creep was o2 dump... does that cure boost creep good?
Is it hard to do? Someone enlighten me ![]() On ebay they aren't too expensive and if they cure boost creep well... Does this one fit any turbo? or which ones http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...em290207873149

I believe Kevin said that the o2 dumps dont help at all with boost creep, maybe it would if you were running stock exhaust or something.

Wouldn't dumping externally with an internal wastegate lessen backpressure and free up the flow helping reduce boost creep?

It sounds good in theory, but the fact is that there isin't much backpressure slowing down the exhaust, especially on a setup likes yours with 3" exhaust. There just isin't a noticable difference to justify the cost/time it takes to do it.

so then the only ways to get rid of boost creep is go to an external wg, or port the exhaust manifold, and o2 housing?
