Stereo swap

My girlfriend has a 97 or 99 accord and I am going to swap out her stock stereo for a after-market one. DO I need anything other than a wiring harness? Yeah I know I need the dash converter... But as far as wires go, just wondering. Thanks.

Re: Stereo swap

Just the harness for standard stereo system. Helps if you have magnatic tip screwdrivers. I don't know how to take out center console for 97 accord but 99 accord just pop out the clock there's a screw behind it and two more at the bottom of the face plate.

Re: Stereo swap

First we need to know the correct year of the car.
1994-1997(5th gens) have different body styles from the 6th gen. (1998-2002)
