240sx ls1 engine swaps becoming popular
I have been researching recently and have noticed and become interested in putting an ls1 into a 240sx... someone (i think on this forum im not sure) claims to have done it with $3500. so to have that kind of stock power really interests me...any opinions???

well you can try to do it, but its going to be a lot of custom stuff like engine mounts, drive shaft, shifter, axles....etc, but its been done before...heck, i even seen a LS1 in a civic hatchback... http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...3&page=1&pp=20 he bought both of the cars, was doing the swap and it didnt cost him over a grand...but into the 240 it'll be a little easier, but it'll be pretty nice to see it

 Newbie here. The most expensive part of the swap is the engine itself! If u do ur own fabrication..better for ya.
