Hesitation/missing problem still occurs...

I've had this problem even before I rebuilt the motor on the 16g. It just started re-occuring tonight. On the 16g at full throttle in higher rpm's, the car would hesitate and sound like it's missing very badly at 16psi. I still have this same problem on the 14b at 17psi. Before I thought maybe it wasn't getting quite enough fuel for the amount of air it was getting but not bad enough for fuel cut. I don't understand why it's still doing it with the 14b. Yea, I'm running 17 on the smaller 14b but I figured I wouldn't have this problem because it throws less cfm's than the 16g. I've also heared of people running 19psi on a 14b on a stock fuel system. Here's the info that I have...
Motor idles perfect at 20vac fully warmed up.
Compression is 180 across all 4.
There are NO boost leaks whatsoever.
Every gasket is NEW.
Spark plugs are NGK and gapped at .027, -1 heat range.
Plug wires are almost 2yrs old, 10.4mm Thundervolt's.

What the hell? The only thing I can possibly come up with is this - it's 10 degrees here tonight, and it just started doing this again tonight, but it's not as bad as the 16g was. Being that it's so cold, could it be leaning out way too much because of the super cold ass air? Or do I really need to upgrade my fuel system? Any help would be great.

Steve

If your fuel system is stock then thats your problem.

People will say it is a fuel problem but here before you do any big and expensive moves try this my car used to studder and not want to go when accelerating to the max its due to your car runnign to rich it fowels out the plugs. I can guarantee if thats the problem your having then your running to rich yourself. Go up to the part store throw down what 10 bucks change your plugs and see if that helps anything if it does get yourself an afc air fuel controller and lean that bitch out alittle. your also going to want to get a guage to see how lean rich your running

If the problem was the plugs fouling out then it would skip constantly. His only missed at high boost levels.

not necessarily i no your correct on that its a good point but it could possibly be the plugs because mine did it at wot which is makin high boost then i changed the plugs and it ran like a raped ape.. idk it was a thought your probably right but it would never hurt.
