I just bought a 1996 Suburban and it has a strip of chrome body trim running full length underneath the regular door guard trim. It also has hot/cold cup holders and wood trim, so I assume some conversion shop put the chrome trim on it too. Is there any way to get that chrome trim crap off and all the glue that holds it on without screwing up the paint under it?? Should I even take it off? I'm just worried about water and salt getting behind it.
