Redline vs. Focus SES

Last night me and two friends were cruising around and we decided to go across one of the bridges in town. So we were just listening to music and all of the sudden we hear BBBWWWAAAAAMMMM and we look and it was a ford focus ses, the one with the visual package or whatever with the wing and fog lights. He decides to fly by then slow down a bit, so we pace him and he starts speeding up again and so we try to get up next to him at about 75 and as soon as we get 2 cars back he drops it and takes off. So I just dropped it to 4th which is a little low considering 3rd takes me to about 95-100. But we followed and at about 90 we passed him and brought it to 110 where I had proven my point while he was about 5-6 cars back. I slowed down to see if he would line up again but he turned as soon as we got off the bridge. But we came to a consideration, the last 2 races I had were on bridges right after we got done listening to the song “Shoulda been a cowboy” (none of us even listen to country so don’t ask lol) So we are going to try that again this weekend. But that was my fun 30 seconds of the night, I did race my friend’s v6 silverado this morning to about 60, but that one isn’t worth mentioning

Haha no i never said anything about an SUV! If your talking about the sliverado thats a truck and i killed it pretty bad by giving it about half throttle and shfting out of 1st at 5k rpms lol

Oh and it was the previous generation focus with the wing and body kit factory package, i dont know what the package is called but there are a few in town.

And i believe the engine is a 2.0 with 136hp and 133tq, and it had exhaust and that was probably it cause i have now realized what SES means: "super extra slow" (I keed of course and no offense to anyone who has one)

Re: Redline vs. Focus SES

Yeah he asked for it for sure

And I'm not too sure about the dyno...i know a general estimate of where i should be by looking at other stock ones, and all i have is intake. But the closest dyno is 200 miles away, so hopefully i will get a chance to dyno it when i go to college in that city, but im not going to that college next year, so i will be waiting a while
