94 camaro problem

i need help..
i took out the motor to my car because it started leaking water....when i got the motor apart i found it was a broke head bolt and the heads were warped...fixed all that and resealed the complete motor...when i put it back in and started it up the the motor wont stay cranked and it viberates at 2000 rpm..i had no other problems other than an oil leek when i started this project.....i also replaced the water pump spark pulgs and wires.....the motor is a 3.4 L v-6......can any one tell me why wont it stay cranked......

Re: 94 camaro problem

Start with the basics and double, triple check that everything is hooked up correctly, ignition system is correct and no vacumm leaks.

Re: 94 camaro problem

Well cant' tell ya how many times after long project somenthing absolutely rediculusly silly was over looked, making it seem like there was a major problem, and you just walk away laughing and cursing yourself when it's found.

Best suggestion i have at this point, a extra set of eyes.

It wouldn't happen to also sound like a very sick jet plane attempting to rev up would it?

Oh, and welcome to the boards

Re: 94 camaro problem

thanks, i had a master mech. look at it as well just in case i missed something.....when it was first cranked i had to rejust the values cause they were make a clanking sound bad thing is i did it by the book the 1st time and thats why it was clanking in the first place that problem fixed now...when you reve up the motor the viberating goes away but it still goes dead

Re: 94 camaro problem

Vibrating may be either from misfire or vacumm leak (and a big one) or a remote chance of further valve train issues/ Did you check and see if any push rods were bent during disassembly?
