HELP! TS won't fire up

My 93 Trans Sport won't fire up.

I,ve had this problem for 2 months now and I'm about to burn the damn thing. It cranks fine, but won't fire up. Crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft pos. sensor have been replaced and nothing still happens.

There is a spark and fuel pressure on the pipe, but I think there is no fuel in injectors.??

Help me, plz!

What you describe is exactly what I experienced nearly 2 years ago with the exact same car. (a 3.8 from what you say).

PRoblem is the ignitionmodule, this wafer like component under the coils.

$70 new on e-bay. Yes, you have spark..but signal to trig the injectors is separate from the one that trigs the spark ; it comes also from the cranshaft sensor and is amplified through the ignition module then fed to the computer. THe amplifier section is dead. Change the ignition module.

Yes I bought the module via ebay. Thanks for the hint. It didn't help though.

Now the car is running fine after tearing half the car apart. The problem was a low voltage wire between the fuse box and the computer. It had a " cold soldering" and voltage reached the computer, but no amps.

Today my TS did it again. I checked the codes and got 18! I didn't find code 18 from any diagram. Anyway I removed the IC module and brushed the mounting plate shining clean and it runs again.

Still I wonder this weird code 18... what does it mean?
