1963 Lincoln Hard Top Continental - Sell or Part Out

We have a 1963 Lincoln Continental that is just a rolling chasis, no motor or transmission, but everything else is intact. The owner of the car ran into some money problems and we need to have about $3,500 for it to get him even.

My dilema is whether I can get that kind of money out of a rolling chasis for this car or should I part it out. I really don't want to part it out since it is a virtually rust free car and pretty straight. It kills me to see something in decent shape reduced to a pile of parts. But on the other hand the money is an important issue too.

I know these cars go from 15-20k when restored. Just wondering what to do for sure. You can check out pics of the car at http://projects.musclecargarageaz.com/shop.aspx if you want an idea of condition. Thanks
