13.9 doesnt sound too impressive to me...

"Rob suggested that this combination, when programmed correctly, improved low end torque of the VTEC, and therefore the day-to-day drivability of the car"
fyi at 50mph in 5th you wont be past the vtec engagement point (4400rpm), that isnt "low end" anymore.
he talks about improved low end torque from adjusted fuel/ignition tables, not gonna happen. displacement=torque. only replacement would be forced induction, in this case nitrous but he said himself the switch was off at the time. The article is total bs used to advertise their products. i wouldnt doubt it if they paid him to write it. comments like this lead me to believe this (note that this is on RPS's website, turboclutch.com):
"RPS installed their Turbo Clutch in the Integra, but you'd never feel it from the driver's seat. Although the clutch has a death grip on the power going to the wheels, it is amazingly progressive and light. Unlike some aftermarket performance clutches that are real bear traps and act like an on-off switch, this one is smooth, with just a hint more stiffness than stock. "

also he seems very naive about cars/performance in general:
"Nitrous works by cooling the intake charge, thereby forcing more of the fuel-air mixture into the engine."
no! nitrous cools down air temps but that is nothing compared to the benefits of the added oxygen. when nitrous reaches 572F (combustion stroke), it breaks down and releases oxygen the extra oxygen allows for more fuel to be burned=more power.

"At the 20-hp stage, timing is pulled back three degrees, at 40-hp it pulls out another three degrees for a total of six degrees of timing retard and at 60-hp it pulls back another three for a total of nine degrees of timing retard"
for a 60 shot it should be more like 2 degrees, maybe 4 but thats on the high side

why does the article say "Pushing the 11-second barrier!" when the car pictured rund a best of 13.9? big difference between 11's and high 13's

btw, i dont know how old this article is but accel's dfi has long been a complete standalone computer that replaces the ecu and even the wiring harness, very complicated.

100k is nothing. im @ 152k, boosted for 8k of those miles. try a compression test and see how your engine is doing.

to tell you the truth turbo get expensive so i'd suggest:
nitrous kit=$350 from me ...or about $450 new
a cockpit mounted air/fuel gauge= $45 new from dallasmustang.com
bottle heater= $150 new
inline fuel pump= $120 new

you can spend the $1300 left in whatever you want.
